1.) Encomium- A formal expression of high praise;eulogy.
Ex: Examples of her poetry and an ENCOMIUM of it will be found else where.
2.) Coherent- Logically connected; consistent.
Ex: It's funny seeing people having an INCOHERENT argument.
3.) Belabor- To explain,worry about, or work out repeatedly or more than necessary.
Ex: There is no need to belabor the wobbly nature of this third term.
4.) Eschew- To abstain or keep away from; shun; avoid.
Ex: Shallow, frost-protected foundations eschew site excavation costs.
5.) Acquisitive- Tending or seeking to acquire and own, often greedily.
Ex: The common denominator was humanity's productive and acquisitive nature.
6.) Emulate- To try to equal or excel.
Ex: Computer designers will have to emulate this somehow.
7.) Arrogate-To attribute or assign to another.
Ex: Governments arrogate to themselves the right to do essentially anything they please.
8.) Banal- Devoid of freshness or originality.
Ex: A banal or sophomoric treatment of courage on the frontier.
9.) Excoriation- To strip the skin of a human or an animal.
Ex: Humans have excoriating parts on their body.
10.) Congeal- To curdle; coagulate, as a fluid.
Ex: There's a fat congeal on the top of the soup.
11.) Carping- Characterized by fussy petulant faultfinding.
Ex: That man was giving him carping criticism.
12.) Substantiate- To establish by proof or oe competent evidence.
Ex: Yesterday I substantiated a charge.
13.) Temporize- To treat or parley so as to gain time.
Ex: The government felt that it cannot temporize with the difficulty any further.
14.) Largesse- Generous bestowal of gifts.
Ex: Usually, news for such largesse would be caused for celebration.
15.) Tenable- Capable of being held, maintained, or defended.
Ex: Many scientist have tenable theories.
16.) Insatiable-Incapable of being satisfied or pleased.
Ex: I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge.
17.) Reconnaissance- The act of reconnoitering.
Ex: They are now used for reconnaissance and as porters.
18.) Germane- Obsolete. Closely related.
Ex: Please keep your comments germane to the statemant.
19.) Ramify- To divide or spread out into branches.
Ex: They supply the muscular coat. ramify in the submucous coat.
20.) Intransigent- Refusing to agree or compromise.
Ex: He began his own intransigent style.
