Hack to School Night

1.) The purpose of this class is to help us gain knowledge and to become a better writer and/or reader. In other words to improve our skills. Also this class prepares us for college and life.
2.) One thing that I have read and written about in Dr. Preston's class is the right to your own opinion. It's true about how you are entitled to their opinion, but just because they have their mind set on their opinion, it doesn't mean they shouldn't take anyone elses opinion for consideration.
3.) So far the easiest thing we've done was to memorize the ''Richard Cory'' poem, by Edwin Arlington Robinson. The hardest thing we've done in this class was the first vocabulary quiz because in the order tp complete we had to know the words specifically by their definition.
4.)My goals for next grading period is to earn a GPA of 4.0.
5.) A socratic seminar is where a group of people gather and discuss about a topic. A blog is a device that we use to post our work, ideas, etc. It's also a way to communicate with our peers and Dr. Preston.
