Earth on Turtles Back

1.) The authors tone in this myth, in my opinion, is that he describes the new world he has created as a beautiful but at the same time kind of plain because it's mostly an ocean.
2.) I think that the mood in this story is kind of a funny mood because the author has an incredible imagination to create a myth like that. It'd be a really good child's book.
